Located in Chicago’s Southbank neighborhood, The Reed Condominiums are ideally situated near fantastic restaurants, Printer’s Row’s historic charm, and the Chicago River’s south bank. The 42-story building offers a variety of residence options, from industrial-modern studios to 3-bedroom apartment homes, all featuring 9′ high concrete ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and elegant finishes. With 27,000 square feet of amenity space and a 2-acre urban park surrounding the building, The Reed offers something for everyone. Titan Electric partnered with Lendlease on this complete design/build project, which consisted of electrical, security, low-voltage, audio/visual, and fire alarm design, from schematic to final construction drawings. Notably, Titan Electric extended ComEd’s infrastructure by constructing a cast-in-place underground concrete vault, which extended the power from Wells Street to the building’s vault. The project was awarded the Chicago Building Congress Merit Award for residential/hospitality.
