This year marks an important milestone for our company: our 20th anniversary.

What began 20 years ago as an idea has grown into the business we are today, thanks to the dedication, hard work, and commitment of our employees—past and present. Every role, every project, and every long day has helped build something we can all be proud of.

In honor of this milestone, we’re extremely proud to share this commemorative 20th-Anniversary website, which not only celebrates but also reminds us of where we started, what we’ve accomplished, and what we are all capable of as we continue to Power the Future for the next 20 years. This Anniversary website features an interactive look at our history, special media content, photo galleries of past and present Titan events, and a special tribute to our Founder, Dan Neswold, whose vision and spirit serve as a guiding light for all of us every day.

From the company's earliest days, our Founder, Dan Neswold, set out to build something different— a company defined by teamwork, integrity, innovation, accountability, and respect—principles from which our company's mission and core values were derived. Dan's legacy will always be his unwavering commitment to hard work, his willingness to roll up his sleeves and get dirty, his penchant for making meaningful connections with people, and his ability to apply his "no problems, only solutions" philosophy to any perceived challenges during his leadership. Beloved by all who knew him best...admired by those who never knew him at all…Dan's vision, passion, and commitment to this business serve as a constant inspiration for us all.

Birth of a Titan

Titan Electric opens its doors in Villa Park, IL.

2006

$10MM Out of the Gate

Titan secures $10MM in revenue in its first year, partnering with major GC partners including Leopardo and Graycor to establish itself as a rising contender in electrical contracting.

2008

Reinforcements Arrive

Brant Barton joins during the Great Recession and financial crisis of 2008, strengthening the field team and securing long-term Tenant Improvement and Service contracts. Brant Barton’s implementation of new business strategies, and pivotal contributions to the growth of the company will eventually lead to his promotion to Chief Operating Officer, which he will maintain until his retirement.

2009

Big Local Wins

Titan wins larger, more complex projects across Chicago and its neighboring submarkets, including Loyola University which the company executed alongside Power Construction.

2012

Rising Above Downtown- Titan on the Rise

Titan secures 611 South Wells with GC partner Bovis Lend-Lease; a luxury high-rise residence in the heart of downtown Chicago. 2012 marks a period of exponential growth for Titan as the company begins building a substantial backlog of work and exceeding revenue targets for the next several years.

Five Stars in River North

Titan partners again with Bovis Lend-Lease on the Dana Hotel, a 26-story, Class A hospitality property in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, continuing to solidfy its exceptional capabilities in the hospitality market.

2013

Room to Grow

Titan relocates to its current Itasca headquarters to support warehouse expansion, its growing backlog of work, and exponential growth in its workforce.

2016

Titan Builds from Within

Carmen Manno joins Team Titan at a pivotal time in the company’s growth trajectory, leading several Industrial, Institutional, Mission Critical, Retail, Residential and Commerical projects with an emphasis on customer service, execution and safety. His valued and dedicated leadership will propel him to his current Chief Operating Officer role where he oversees Safety, New Construction, Engineering, and Administration.

August 2017

A Signature Skyline Win

Alongside Clark Construction, Titan is awarded the Bank of America Tower, a 55-story Class A development on Chicago’s riverfront. 110 Wacker is considered one of Titan’s signature and standout projects in their project portfolio.

2018

New Leadership Takes the Helm

Following more than 12 years of contributions and service, Eric Schaller is named President of Titan Electric to spur the company’s next era of growth.

2018

Entering Mission Critical

Louis Longo joins Team Titan as Vice President and Division Manager to lead and grow the newly formed Mission Critical division, by leveraging long-term relationships, and fostering new alliances in the burgeoning Data Center market.

June 2018

Powering the First Data Center

Operating with limited manpower, Titan Electric’s Mission Critical team, secures its first data center project 600 Federal Suite 290 ($5MM) alongside Clune Construction.

2020

$100MM Data Center Double

Titan is awarded two major data center projects alongside Hitt Construction totaling $100MM representing a significant project acquisition for the emerging Mission Critical team whose reputation for delivering reliable data centers and fitouts under budget and ahead of schedule becomes well-known throughout the industry.

2021

Tech Division Takes Flight

Robert Karlow joins Titan to lead, grow, and streamline the Technologies division. Following the awarding of several projects in the division’s growing portfolio, he is promoted to EVP within his first year at the company.

2022

Cleared for Takeoff

Technologies Team drives Aviation portfolio and establishes new revenue streams with technology contracts for United Airlines and Southwest Airlines.

A Healthy New Vertical

Titan Technologies secures massive healthcare contract with Rush Medical Center—paving the way for several substantial wins in the healthcare market in the future.

Moving a Chicago Icon

Titan Electric is selected as the electrical contractor for the relocation of historic Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) in Chicago, demonstrating Titan Electric’s ability to successfully navigate and execute unique and niche market segments.

2023

Titan Goes Southwest

Titan Electric is awarded its first data center project in Arizona, expanding its geographic footprint from the Midwest into the Southwest.

Powering A Signature Landmark

Accenture Chicago selects Titan to lead the tenant buildout of its new headquarters, a sohpisticated, high-rise office tower with sweeping views of the city and best-in-class amenities.

2024

Expanding its Retail Expertise

Titan broadens its retail portfolio with significant tenant improvement contracts for both Walgreens and ACE Hardware.

A Marquee Law Firm Win

Titan is awarded the Kirkland & Ellis tenant buildout, marking a major win in the commercial tenant buildout market.

2025

494 Units, One Big Win

Titan is awarded 370 N. Morgan, a 494-unit residential tower, with general contractor Skender.

Eleven Data Centers in Seven Years

Titan Electric’s Mission Critical team secures its 11^th data center project in seven years, cementing its position in the prominent Mission Critical/ Data Center market and catapulting the company’s sustained growth for years to come!

All In on Bally's

Titan WINS the massive Bally’s Casino Chicago project, which includes multiple contracts including Design-Build, Fire Alarm, BIM, and Low-Voltage.
