This U.S. Flagship store, Burberry Chicago is a 5-story, 26,000 square foot retail facility located along the city’s Magnificent Mile at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Ontario Street. Its black chrome façade was designed to portray Burberry’s signature black check at scale.

To illuminate the building’s exterior, Titan Electric installed 8,300 feet of LEDs in the exterior curtain wall, controlled by a Lutron Quantum Dimming System. Its 27-foot-wide staircase is also back-lit with LEDs, a beautiful visual display as customers climb and descend the floors at night.

The store also features a retail theater to broadcast runway shows and globally synchronized content on the floor-to-ceiling digital walls, controlled and dimmable using iPads.
