In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Titan delivered the electrical for Amazon’s new Channahon, IL warehouse location ahead of schedule despite one of the most challenging times in modern history. The project was completed in just 10 months, beginning in November 2019 and ending on August 1, 2020, when Amazon took occupancy.

This new Amazon facility is in the far-west Chicago suburbs and sprawls over 1 million square feet. It is a single-story structure with a 40-foot clear height, complete with two docks on both long elevations and one short elevation.

Titan Electric’s scope of work included:

Furnishing and installation of (3) incoming service

Power and lighting distribution throughout the warehouse

Mechanical equipment feeders, including (3) independent busway systems

A complete office space build-out

Site lighting

Service and build-out to pumphouse and guardhouse
